Meet Dr. VandeBerg
Dr. James VandeBerg brings nearly two decades of experience, clinical leadership, and a genuine passion for creating healthy, confident smiles to our practice.
Raised in San Antonio, Dr. VandeBerg graduated from Clark High School before earning his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 2001. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 2005. He then completed three years of advanced education at Saint Louis University’s prestigious orthodontic program, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry and completing his specialty training in orthodontics.
Throughout his career, Dr. VandeBerg has treated children, teens, and adults while founding and leading several successful orthodontic practices. His experience includes traditional and clear braces, Spark clear aligners, and advanced treatment approaches designed to support healthy dental and facial development. His clinical perspective is also informed by his published research in craniofacial growth.
Dr. VandeBerg and his wife, Lauren, recently moved their family to Colorado in search of a place where they could put down roots, become part of a community they love, and build a meaningful life together. They are excited to call Colorado home and look forward to becoming active members of the Aurora and Centennial communities.
Dr. VandeBerg and Lauren have three children: Clayton, Suzanne, and Charlotte. Outside the office, he enjoys volunteering through his church, kayaking, and keeping up with his children’s many activities—including plenty of time behind the wheel as the family carpool driver.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. VandeBerg is committed to making every patient feel heard, comfortable, and confident throughout their orthodontic journey. He looks forward to getting to know local families and serving this community for many years to come.
